Architect’s Office Design

The unconventional office design features a spatial metronome that conducts the beat of a unique work-style for the architectural practice. Working space is encountered with exhibition space and chill-out space which takes care of the functionality and quality of workspace. The progressive movement of high-level metal frameworks flows along the interior and prompts the retraction and protraction of mind. The design utilizes the high-ceiling and creates a sense of spatial extension beyond the physical boundary. Nostalgic features such as wired glass and metal gate are integrated with contemporary expression to break the limitation of time. Divergent materials including timber and galvanized steel, or finishes in black and white, run across each other and create contrast like the tic-tac movement of a metronome. With the scattered pieces of artwork blending in to spark creativity, the design illustrates a stage for participants to play in concert for a symphony with the space.
